Shands Hospital - University of Florida
The Challenge
The Hospital had epoxy flooring systems that were not performing as expected. There were areas where the flooring system had lost its bond with the tile below and other areas that were discolored. You could also see the outline of the existing tile floor below the old epoxy flooring system.

The Solution
The old flooring system was mechanically removed. ECI’s ¼” trowel applied epoxy flooring and cove system was applied and sealed with our urethane top coat. The cove was troweled up the wall over the old existing tile surface for a seamless finish.
