Long Beach Post Office - Long Island, NY
The Challenge
The Long Beach Post Office was virtually underwater from Hurricane Sandy. The lower level of the Post Office had lead-based paint that had become disturbed from the time the area was underwater. The Post Office wanted to stabilize the surface and coat the surface with a waterproof system and prevent mold from growing on the surface.

The Solution
ECI’s encasement system consisting of the FiberTech F-50 Penetrating Stabilizer Primer and the FiberTech F-51 Sealer Coat was chosen for its ability to stabilize difficult surfaces, for its resistance to mold and water, and for its ability to encase hazardous conditions. The Post Office was completely satisfied with the results.
